The figures are inspired by a YouTube video that was posted in 2023 and took over in 2024, having an immediate impact on the 7 year old boys in your life. Now that its popularity has grown even bigger, Funko has the Pop figures that you crave. Whether you’re on the side of the Toilets or the Camera-heads in their coming war, this Funko drop brings something for everyone. One Pop features the toilet head man (in both standard and Jumbo varieties), who I have to say has a really terrifying smile. Yeesh. Skibidi Toilet Movie?

Back in July of 2024, Variety reported that Michael Bay and former Paramount Pictures president Adam Goodman were working together to bring the YouTube content to something bigger. 

“We are absolutely in talks right now, both on the television side and the earliest conversations right now on the film side,” Goodman said. “But it’s not a be-all, end-all for us.”

Apparently Skibidi Toilet has the potential to become something bigger, or at least that’s what the film biz veteran Goodman thinks. Goodman, with Bay, now runs a “Tra-digital” independent studio called Invisible Narratives, and he thinks he’ll be able to build something marvelous, something “that could be the next ‘Transformers’ or could be a Marvel universe.”

“I will say that Michael and Jeffrey Beecroft, who’s his longtime production designer and a colleague of his that’s worked with him on all of his movies, have been working very closely with [Alexey Gerasimov, Skibidi Toilet’s YouTube creator] to really professionalize the kind of back engine of this, to make sure, if we ever decide to go film or television, that this is kind of lifted beyond just the resources that creators have on the internet,” said Goodman.

No new reports have been made regarding a Skibidi Toilet movie or TV show, but as more merchandise hits the shelves, that reality gets closer and closer.

Playmates Toys’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Technodrome playset was released in 1990, and it has become a collector favorite over the years. Original versions can set you back around $300 these days, but the good news is that Playmates Toys re-released the playset last year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the TMNT franchise. What’s more, you can currently pick it up here on Amazon (exclusive) for only $32.84 (59% off) as part of a limited time deal that will disappear when 100% claimed. Apparently, the original toy cost $49.99 in 1990 (much to the outrage of my parents most likely), which puts the magnitude of this deal into perspective.

Keep in mind that the original TMNT Technodrome release and the updated version are not exactly the same. Most notably, the newer version is slightly smaller, which means it isn’t 100% compatible with vintage figures. There are also minor differences with some of the details and the overall build quality, which isn’t quite as good in the newer version. However, all but the most nitpicky collectors will be happy with the re-issue, especially at this ridiculously good price.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993) are finally making their debut in the 4K Ultra HD format thanks to Arrow Video. Arrow notes that the first film was restored from the original 35mm camera negative and the two sequels were restored from the original 35mm interpositives, so the quality is expected to be high for these restorations. What’s more, they’re being packaged together in a box set that includes a collector’s booklet, newly commissioned artwork, and brand new commentaries and interviews for all three films from the directors, cast, and crew.

Currently the TMNT Trilogy is available to pre-order in limited edition 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray varieties from Arrow Video and Zavvi US (Arrow also has store exclusive versions with alternate artwork) priced at $70 and $65 respectively. Superman‘s Krypto Has a Personal Connection to James Gunn

Anyone who’s seen Superman knows Krypto isn’t necessarily the most-behaved dog out there. There’s a good reason for that. When writing the Superman script, Gunn drew from his own experiences with Ozu, a rescue dog he adopted. During a special look at Superman that aired during the Puppy Bowl earlier this year, Gunn shared that Ozu was the inspiration for Krypto. When Ozu first arrived at the Gunn household, he was “problematic to say the least” as he destroyed furniture, shoes, and even Gunn’s laptop.

As Gunn was going through these growing pains with Ozu, he thought to himself, “Gosh, how difficult would life be if Ozu had superpowers?” This paved the way for Krypto to become part of Superman and, in Gunn’s words, “change the shape of the story as Ozu was changing my life.”

Sadly, Krypto’s super powers make it impossible for him to have human friends (Gunn says Krypto could tear other people up — even accidentally). But Ozu and all the other real-world dogs can channel their inner Krypto this National Dog Day with these fun products.

Funko has been on a Cartoon Network kick lately, and the latest Funko Pops to join the party are inspired by Adventure Time and Ben 10. We’ll start with the new Adventure Time Pops, which are are focused on the animated sequel series, Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake ahead of the second season drop. The two new Pops feature Fionna and Cake, a body-bending, sassy, cat who also happens to be Fionna’s best friend. There’s also one exclusive on the table, Simon before he became the Ice King. Funko’s design works perfectly for Simon, with his glasses sitting low on his face and his Ice King crown in his hands.

Next up are the new Ben 10 figures, featuring Ben Tennyson himself and one of his original alien transformations, Heatblast. Commons in both sets of Funko Pops are now available to pre-order from Entertainment Earth, and should be available here on Amazon in the next 24 hours. New Ben 10 and Adventure Time Funko Pops

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake is now in the middle of production on season 2, and the showrunner behind the animated series has shared an update on how production is coming along. Warner Bros. announced, during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival earlier this month, a new movie, spin-offs and more for the Adventure Time world. Alongside all that information was a little tidbit on Fionna and Cake. 

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake Season 2 does not currently have a release window or date, but showrunner Adam Muto revealed to Deadline that it will likely won’t be until next year at the earliest. In fact, they’re only in the “middle stages” of its production. “We’re in production right now and it’s sort of in the middle stages,” Muto stated, “I don’t think there’s a release date yet, but probably not until next year.” Hopefully more information will come soon, as the first season of Fionna and Cake was surprisingly good, bringing back the Adventure Time world perfectly.

HBO’s upcoming prequel series, IT: Welcome to Derry, is set to hit HBO Max this October in time for Halloween, and Funko is getting out ahead of the game. The wave includes 5 new IT: Welcome to Derry Pops that are sure to send shivers down your spine. Pennywise, Bob Gray, Skeleton Man, and Pop! Town that features Pennywise and his circus wagon. There’s even an exclusive of Pennywise enjoying some, uh… let’s say “punch out of a very strange punchbowl”.

The new series will cover the events before the films It and It: Chapter Two, bringing to the screen King’s interlude chapters from the novel. If you’re the type of fan who will be there front and center when the new show premieres, then head to Entertainment Earth to pre-order the new collection. IT: Welcome to Derry Funko Pops

Some have been speculating that IT: Welcome to Derry is more than just a prequel series. Apparently, it might be the start of an entire Stephen King universe, opening the doors to stories beyond the IT novel. The trailers for the new series have included references to both Dick Hallorann (The Shining) and Shawshank Penitentiary (Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption), meaning there’s definitely a possibility that Welcome to Derry is setting up a Stephen King shared universe. 

As Comicbook’s Zack Zagranis puts it, “nearly every Stephen King novel contains at least one reference to the author’s other works. Ace Merril from The Body (AKA Stand by Me) shows up in Needful Things, Randal Flagg from The Stand appears in Hearts in Atlantis, etc. All of King’s novels and short stories are part of the same multiverse that fans have dubbed the “Kingverse.””

With Marvel popularizing the connected universe treatment, it’s no wonder that HBO wants their chance to build the next big franchise. King’s literary universe might be the best way to do it.

Japan is under attack by the vicious Kaiju. The JDF (Japan Defense Forces) are working to protect the city, while the clean-up crew around the country deals with the mess. In comes Kafka, a city cleaner who gets infected with a parasite from the Kaiju and transforms into a super-powered being with immense strength and regeneration. Funko is here this week to celebrate the hit anime with new Funko Pops straight from the first season of the hit show. UPDATE: Funko’s Pop Plus Kaiju No. 8 figure that offers the chance at a glow-in-the-dark Chase is back up and available to order here at Funko following a quick sellout at launch yesterday. Main characters Kafka, Mina Ashiro, Kikoru, and Reno all make an appearance in the drop, as well as Kafka’s transformed Kaiju hybrid, Kaiju No. 8. The second season of the insanely popular new anime hit worldwide on July 19th. According to Comicbook’s own Nick Valdez, “Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 will be making its debut in Japan on July 19th, and much like the first season will be streaming outside of Japan with both X and Crunchyroll. Also announced was the fact that the extra new episode, Hoshina’s Day Off, will be making its Japanese broadcast debut on July 5th ahead of the new season’s premiere. It’s yet to be revealed as to whether or not this special episode will be streaming with Crunchyroll (as it was previously released as part of the Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon movie event), but the episode will be streaming with X when it hits on that day.” So if you’re a big fan, stay tuned. The Devil’s Rejects (2005) is the second installment of writer-director Rob Zombie’s Firefly horror trilogy which also includes House of 1000 Corpses (2003) and 3 From Hell (2019). The Devil’s Rejects will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a nationwide theatrical release from Fathom Entertainment that will take place on October 6 & 8 complete with a new introduction by Rob Zombie. Hasbro is bringing two retro Marvel Legends figures back after several years of being unavailable to collectors. The first is the Marvel Vintage Series 6-inch Scale Fantastic 4 Dr. Doom Action Figure, a retro cardback figure that features the classic, comic-accurate depiction of the supervillain. Then there’s the Marvel Legends Retro Ghost Rider Action Figure, a 6-inch scale Johnny Blaze that brings back the fiery character in all his glory.

The original run of the Doctor Doom figure included 10 accessories like an extra set of hands and Doom’s spellbooks. It launched way back in 2020, so this second opportunity to grab it is a long time coming. And with Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters now, it’s an even better time to revisit the team’s foe, who’s soon to have his MCU debut in Avengers: Doomsday. As for the Ghost Rider figure, it first launched in 2022 and includes accessories like an alternate Johnny Blaze head, swappable hands, flame effects, and the Hellfire Chain. Avengers: Doomsday News

Production is currently underway on Marvel Studios’ next Avengers film, Avengers: Doomsday, and fans are hoping that multiple Marvel characters will make appearances. While some casting choices have been confirmed (and some actors are apparently completely done filming already), fans have speculated that there is likely to be some major surprises. After years of fans asking for a higher quality version of what is possibly one of the best anime made, they have been answered as the legendary Monster series is finally being released in Blu-ray version soon, courtesy of Discotek Media. The series is a cult-classic and highly praised, and for good reason, but its physical media presence has been lacking, with resellers charging a fortune for DVDs, and Blu-rays existing but region-locked to the chagrin of American fans. The announcement that it will be available to North American audiences in such high quality is a big win for the thousands who have been waiting all this time, as Naoki Urasawa’s masterpiece and his most well-known work eyes a next year release.

On August 9th, 2025, in this year’s Otakon convention, Discotek Media unveiled 9 upcoming licenses, featuring classics and hits. Among them is the 2004 anime Monster, and Discotek is set to release all 74 episodes in high definition in 2026. Furthermore, the Blu-ray will feature Japanese audio and English subtitles, as well as an English dub. Other exciting titles that are set to be licensed include Shin Ace o Nerae!, Shin-chan, the Digimon
franchise’s fourth, fifth, and sixth movies, and more. Given the company’s history with licenses such as Berserk (1997), City Hunter, Fist of the North Star, and more, the upcoming release of Monster is surely going to satisfy fans’ hopes of experiencing the once-in-a-lifetime series in great quality.

The animation that was ahead of its time, the harrowing and tense soundtracks, and the engrossing storytelling, the anime has accumulated a loyal following over the years and was Urusawa’s first major hit before continuing to make others such as 20th Century Boys, Pluto, and Billy Bat.

The manga has more than 20 copies in circulation and has won and been nominated for many awards, such as the prestigious Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize and the Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category. The anime that was faithful to the story and enhanced it with aspects only possible through the medium is a great gateway for anyone interested in the works of the manga of the man described as “the greatest storyteller of our time” by Bong Joon Ho, and 2026 will see it available in the best quality yet.

Zach Cregger’s horror movie Weapons is now playing in theaters, and it is getting rave reviews from critics and audiences, which is translating to big money at the box office. In fact, it looks as though Weapons will surpass the entire worldwide haul of Cregger’s previous hit film Barbarian in its opening weekend. That said, this is a film that horror fans will want to add to their Blu-ray collections, and Warner Bros. is happy to oblige with a limited edition 4K Blu-ray Steelbook release along with standard 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD options. At the time of writing pre-orders are currently available here on Amazon, here at Walmart, and here on GRUV. Note that GRUV has already sold out of the Steelbook, which is probably a sign of things to come.

Given that the Weapons Blu-ray release is fresh out of the gate, we don’t have an official release date or info on special features. However, we would expect that it would be available in November at the latest. This article will be updated with that information when it becomes available. Speaking with Comicbook at SDCC 2025, Cregger had the following to say about how Weapons compares to Barbarian:

“Well, structurally I think Weapons is a more complex movie than Barbarian, Cregger said. “Barbarian is structurally unique, and Weapons is structurally unique, but with Barbarian, when it kind of shifts, it’s disorienting and it can be frustrating to people. I think when Weapons shifts and reinvents itself, it builds the momentum. It doesn’t ever take you out of the story, I hope.”

“Instead, it feels like, ‘Here we go. Now we’re doing this. Let’s figure it out,’ you know?” he went on. “So, I think I’ve kind of made a fundamental adjustment to the structural idea that I think is more in service of the experience.”

Written and directed by Cregger, the official synopsis for Weapons says, “When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.” The movie features an impressive cast that includes a handful of Marvel Cinematic Universe stars including Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, Benedict Wong, and Alden Ehrenreich. The movie also features Cary Christopher, Amy Madigan, June Diane Raphael, Austin Abrams, and Jason Turner.

Fan-favorite collectibles company Super7 always knows how to make the hometown convention, a little event called San Diego Comic-Con International, feel special. Every year the team themes the official Super7 store, just a few blocks from the convention center to something iconic and this year was perhaps the takeover that was least surprising. For 2025 the Super7 Store became Godzilla Station, themed after the King of the Monsters and featuring exclusive new merch from the team in addition to literal facelift for the building itself.

ComicBook had the chance to speak with Super7 founder, owner, and CCO Brian Flynn about his love for Godzilla and also the future of the Toho classic franchise across their products. Flynn noted that they always do something special for San Diego Comic-Con, and the fact that they hadn’t done something with Godzilla yet kind of meant it was time. At this year’s event, Super7 not only rolled out exclusive Godzilla Station apparel for attendees but also exclusive FUN! FUN!, ReAction, and Ultimates figures based on different kaiju from Toho.

Flynn was quick to point out a specific convergence that fans may notice is coming to fruition with Super7’s Godzilla plans. While the ReAction line started at one end of the history of Godzilla, including his formative beginnings plus his kaiju pals from the 1960s and ’70s, the Ultimates line has so far been focused on the ’90s sequels and more modern versions like Godzilla Minus One. As Flynn told us, now those two lines are going to intersect and pass each other, moving into the opposite territories from each other as they continue.

“We have not finished the ReAction line by any means, and there are a ton of Showa series kaiju we have not yet made in ReAction, much less, Hesei or Millennium series kaiju, so, we have a long way to go still,” Flynn added. “We usually like to bring out the ReAction Figures in waves that relate to each and other and make sense with each other – pairings, battles, movie plot lines.”

Collectors may have already noticed this trend with the ReAction figures, since the first wave of the line had the 1954 Godzilla and the 1974 Mechagodzilla, while the most recent wave featured two versions of Godzilla (one from 1989 and the other from 2023’s Godzilla Minus One).

For those keeping track, we asked Flynn specifically about a few notable Toho kaiju for the Ultimates line. Fans like us waiting on Rodan may have to keep waiting, but deeper cuts like Sanda and Gaira from The War of the Gargantuas are also not entirely out of the realm of possibility. One that fans should not expect though, something legal scholars won’t be shocked to hear, is a Kong from 1962’s King Kong vs. Godzilla, it’s not a priority.

“There are quite a few Toho Ultimates in the works, with a mix of both classic kaiju that everyone loves, as well as some key iterations of Godzilla we have not yet brought to life,” Flynn teased. “We try to be cognizant that people collect our figures for a variety of different reasons, and make sure we are offering a bit of something for everyone.”

While nothing gets better than a The Rocky Horror Picture Show showing in theaters (ESPECIALLY with shadow actors), a 4K viewing in your living room should be enough to hold you over to the next rowdy showing. As noted, the cult-classic film is finally getting a 4K release on October 7th, meaning now’s the time to prepare your Rocky Horror Halloween party. The restored and remastered version of the film was overseen by the Walt Disney Studios Restoration team over the course of 10-months and involved “a meticulous digital scan and preservation process that ensures every frame of the cult classic is presented with unprecedented clarity and vibrancy.” The restoration also includes a newly mixed Dolby Atmos audio track plus a restored version of the original mono audio, letting fans choose to experience the iconic soundtrack in either modern or classic mode. Nothing beats watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show at midnight in a theater alongside other faithful fans, but the fact that the film will finally get a 4K UHD Blu-ray release in 2025 is a big deal. The upgrade comes in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a movie that is the very definition of a cult classic. UPDATE: An official release date of October 7th has been announced for the Rocky Horror 4K Blu-ray release, along with the cover art for the Steelbook and a list of special features, which can be found below. You’ll also find a list of 50th anniversary events for superfans that will happen in September and October. Pre-orders for the 4K Steelbook Blu-ray are expected to go live here on Amazon and here at Walmart at any moment. A digital version will also be available on platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home on October 7th.

Given how much The Rocky Horror Picture Show means to its legions of fans, getting the remaster right was of the utmost importance. Disney notes that the newly restored and remastered version of the film was overseen by the Walt Disney Studios Restoration team over the course of 10-months and involved “a meticulous digital scan and preservation process that ensures every frame of the cult classic is presented with unprecedented clarity and vibrancy.” The restoration also includes a newly mixed Dolby Atmos audio track in addition to a restored version of the original mono audio. The upcoming Spawn movie tentatively titled King Spawn has been gestating for years now with Jamie Foxx attached to star. Todd McFarlane spoke to Comicbook about the film exactly a year ago, and it seemed significant progress was being made, but it’s been crickets since then. Jurassic World Rebirth brought the franchise roaring back from extinction with a $766 million haul at the box office to date. However, the attention has turned to the home video release, and you won’t have to wait long to watch the film at home. In fact, you will barely have to wait at all. Universal Pictures has announced that Jurassic World Rebirth will officially launch on digital platforms August 5th, which will be followed by the 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release on September 9. Everything you need to know about the Blu-ray release can be found below, including info on special features, which was also announced today.

The limited edition Jurassic World Rebirth 4K Blu-ray Steelbook features scenes from the film on the cover and on the interior. We have also seen a 4K Steelbook edition that features a simple logo on the cover, though it is being sold through a UK retailer and it’s unclear whether or not it will be available in the U.S.. There are also standard 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD releases along with the aforementioned 7-movie collection on various formats. The original Castlevania animated series from producer Adi Shankar and writer Warren Ellis ran for 4 seasons on Netflix from 2017 to 2021, and is widely regarded as one of the best video game adaptations of all-time. Castlevania: Nocturne Season Three Ideas

Recently, Samuel Deats had an interview with the outlet Collider to discuss potential ideas for Nocturne’s future. With the gaming franchise exploring countless stories across timelines, and sometimes universes, there’s plenty of material for the animated series to pull from. Should the recent series continue, Deats is hoping to explore one of the most beloved stories of the series, Symphony of the Night.

“Certainly, we have tried to set the stage for and have always wanted to do a Symphony of the Night adaptation.” Deats said, “But, as Adam said, there is a broad universe in Castlevania. This isn’t our first rodeo when it comes to the question mark in between seasons. When the second season of the original series came out, there was a couple-month lull where we were just waiting to find out if we were going to keep going with the series. Same thing happened after Season 4. There was interest in continuing Castlevania, but there was a question mark about it then, as well. I think there’s still a lot of confidence in the franchise as a whole, so we’ll see how things play out over the coming weeks. Regardless, I think there’s still a lot of love and a lot of places to go with the series that I think fans would love to see.”

One of the biggest Blu-ray releases this past Halloween season was the arrival of Wes Craven’s iconic A Nightmare on Elm Street on 4K Blu-ray for the film’s 40th anniversary. The film introduced Robert Englund’s Freddy Krueger to audiences, and is widely regarded as one of the best horror films of all-time. Now it looks as though fans will get an even bigger treat for Halloween 2025 in the form of a 4K box set. Pre-orders first launched last month, but we now have a proper look at the Amazon exclusive box set (4000 unit limited edition) and the standard edition releases along with a confirmed release date of September 30th. Additional information can be found below.

The limited edition, individually numbered Amazon exclusive 4K Blu-ray box set that will include the first 7 films in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise on 4K Ultra HD and Digital for the first time. It will also include a pair of 3D glasses and a numbered certificate of authenticity. To top it all off, All 7 films will be packaged separately in Steelbooks and bundled together in a Steelbook Library Case. As noted, a standard edition has also been added as an option, and is also available to pre-order here on Amazon. The Amazon exclusive edition was sold out at the time of writing, and it may not return given that only 4000 were made. That would be a shame because the cover for the standard 4K box set is pretty lazy in my opinion.

Get your webslingers ready! Spider-Man Day 2025 is happening today, August 1st, and McFarlane Toy’s is celebrating the occasion with three new comic book-inspired Spider-Man statues. The first 1:10 scale statue features Ghost-Spider, aka Spider Gwen, posed to match the comic cover of The Amazing Spider-Man #1 created by artist J. Scott Campbell. The second 1:10 scale statue available for Spider-Man Day is especially interesting in that it is inspired by the classic comic corner box that can be seen on the cover of Spider-Man comics. The third statue is also going to be a fan favorite as it is in 1:6 scale and is based on Todd McFarlane’s iconic cover for Spider-Man #1.

Sony is making a big entry into the fighting game genre with the upcoming FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick. This marks the first official fight stick for PlayStation created by Sony, and I’m all aboard. Fighting games typically cater to two types of audiences, casual and competitive, and I’ve toed the line for years. That said, there are three main reasons, and several smaller ones, why I am completely sold on the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick.

Before diving into what makes the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick so appealing, it has to be said that Sony’s support of the fighting game community is incredible to see. The studio has already partnered with Arc System Works to produce Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, but introducing a fight stick that is appealing to both casual and competitive players can bridge the gap and get more fans into higher-tier play.

Wireless PS Link Connectivity

The first thing I want to highlight is the FlexStrike Fight Stick’s wireless and wired capabilities. Controllers have long moved toward wireless, and the FlexStrike does so through PS Link. PS Link is a great option that reduces latency, which will appeal to competitive players where every input is crucial. However, it also makes it more accessible for casual players who don’t want to carry long wires around with them. That said, some players in the competitive scene prefer a wired connection no matter what, and the USB-C wired connection satisfies this desire.

Lock Button Ability

FlexStrike’s lock button feature is a game-changer. Anyone who has played on a fight stick or controller has pressed the wrong button and done a misinput. These can often lead to losing a game and even a set. However, the FlexStick’s lock feature prevents you from pressing the wrong button, making every click of its mechanical switch buttons satisfying and bringing you closer to victory.

Toolless Gate Swap

Finally, the FlexStrike Fight Stick comes with Toolless Gate Swap and three different options that change how your inputs function. By default, it comes equipped with a square gate, as these are the most common, especially outside of the United States. However, if desired, players have the option to swap these for octagonal or circular gates and can do so without additional tools.

This allows for customization in an easy manner to appeal to all player preferences. Gates correspond to how your stick moves, directly affecting your inputs. Square gates have become among the most popular due to fewer restrictions, whereas some players have reported that octagonal gates make doing inputs for charge characters more difficult. By including all three, Sony is catering to all audiences in the FGC.

These three things alone make the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick a winner for me, but this isn’t all Sony has jammed into this product. The fighting game community is always changing, and its preference for fight sticks is no exception. Leverless has become a popular option, but traditional arcade fight sticks are still well-favored. This makes Sony’s FlexStrike the perfect beginner fight stick for newcomers while offering great value for veterans.

The size of the FlexStrike is also incredibly appealing. Fight decks are notoriously big, though this has changed in recent years. Sony’s FlexStrike is small enough to be used on a desk, in your lap, and even just held. It adds to this appeal by making the buttons close, even those seen on a regular PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller. By going this route, the FlexStrike can theoretically be used for fighting games and other genres.

Despite its small size, it is built smartly to utilize all its compact space. The additional gates and PS Link adapter are all stored on the back of the device. Likewise, the USB-C wire, which is used for connecting to PS5 or PC and likely for charging the controller’s battery, can be stored in the included sling carry case along with the controller itself. This makes traveling with the FlexStrike easy for those who play at tournaments or friends’ houses.

Sony has not revealed an official release date, but it did confirm that the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick is planned to release in 2026. No price has been revealed either, but fans can sign up for updates on Sony’s official site. The FGC will want to keep an eye on this. Even casual players who are looking to enhance their game can benefit from the FlexStrike.

There has never been a better age for fighting games. Street Fighter 6 paved the way with its Modern controls, but Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and the upcoming Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls are also great ways to get into the genre. As a casual player who has always wanted to take things to the next level, the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick will likely be what pushes me toward the competitive scene once and for all.

New retro figures inspired by the 1973 – 1986 DC Super Friends TV show are set to launch this Thursday, July 31 from McFarlane Toys. This time around, the wave will include 6-inch scale figures of Captain Cold, Cheetah, Toyman, The Flash, and Superman. The renditions of these characters look perfect, like they could’ve been snatched straight out of the TV. Toyman and Captain Cold look especially good in our opinion, and you’ll notice that Toyman includes his own miniature version of Superman. Priscilla Rich’s Cheetah also appears in the new drop, looking particularly conniving. Again, these figures are set to be released this Thursday, July 31 at 9am PT / 12pm ET. At that time, they should be available here at Entertainment Earth, though you can hit the list below after the launch for Amazon and Walmart links if they become available.
